Masterton-based Giants will complete a busy week when they play Porirua in an Inter-City men's softball match at Porirua Park tomorrow.
It will be their fifth match in the past seven days., preceded as it has been by a double header against Hutt Valley Marist in Masterton last Saturday, and Hutt Valley competition games against Hutt City United and Dodgers at Fraser Park last night.
The two big wins secured over Hutt Valley Marist will have boosted Giants's confidence going into this weekend's encounter.
In total they scored 19 runs while conceding just one and there was a polished look to their play in all departments.
Against a team of Porirua's calibre it will be vital that Giants continue the excellent batting form they have shown through most of the season.
The bulk of their squad recorded safe hits against Hutt Valley Marist, with noted big hitters Justin Karaitiana and Gordon Wilmshurst both managing automatic home runs.
Porirua have a proven pitching staff who will back their ability to keep the Giants's batters under wraps and whoever wins that battle will probably win the match.
Busy time for Giants
