It was a busy Guy Fawkes night for firefighters last night, but there were no reports of major fires or injuries from fireworks.
Fire Service Northern Communications spokesperson Scott Smith said crews responded to about 360 callouts overnight.
However there were no major fires or injuries.
In the lower North Island there were around 40 callouts, the majority of which were fireworks-related, Fire Service Central Communications spokesperson Murray Dunbar said.
"We only had three scrub fires that required more than one appliance," Mr Dunbar said.
