All businesses closed by a gas leak in Dunedin this morning have reopened.
A gas main was ruptured by workers at a construction site in the Albion Lane area about 8.45am.
The Fire Service has finished dissipating remaining gas residues.
A cordon remains in place in a small area as a precautionary measure, a police statement said, however there is no longer any threat to members of the public.
Traffic flows have returned to normal.
