Wairarapa-Bush will take the same starting line-up into their Lochore Cup grand final with Buller in Westport on Saturday as the one that initially took the field when they recorded a shock win over King Country in their semifinal last weekend.
Coach Kelvin Tantrum confirmed that, while there were a few sore bodies after the rough and tumble of that success, there were no injury scares leading into the title decider.
"Thankfully, everybody reported to Tuesday's training fit and well and absolutely raring to go," he said.
"There's a lot of excitement there, no question of that."
Tantrum said it was a "no brainer" to stay with the same starting line-up after they had performed so well in Te Kuiti but he emphasised that all 22 players travelling to Westport would probably be involved in the action there.
"The depth in our reserves is one of our strengths and I'd imagine they will all get a good run," he said.
"In fact, their contribution could make all the difference in the end result. It's what the fresh legs provide that often does."
Tantrum sees the Lochore Cup final as being a rugged encounter, with both sides striving hard to get the better of the forward battle before looking to spread the ball wide.
This will be Buller's first grand final in the Heartland competition.
