KEY POINTS:
Wellington bus services were being interrupted again today as drivers stopped work to vote on a proposed collective employment agreement.
GO Wellington, and the Tramways and the Manufacturing and Construction Workers unions last week reached an agreement which is expected to be ratified by drivers at a meeting today.
GO Wellington said there would be no services between 10am and 2pm, and only limited services would run between 9-10am and 2-3pm. Full services on all routes would resume at 3pm.
It apologised to customers for any inconvenience.
Bus drivers walked off the job for one hour during the morning rush hour two weeks ago and GO Wellington retaliated by locking drivers out the following day.
Services were restored to normal on the Friday after the unions agreed to withdraw their notice of strike action and to return to the negotiating table.
