A bus which plunged down a bank after leaving the road in Upper Hutt this morning has been recovered.
A police spokesman said the purple Hutt Flyer bus, which contained one passenger, went off the road and down a bank in Pinehaven about 11.45am after travelling through the intersection of Forest Road and Elmslie Road.
Neither the driver or the passenger were injured, he said.
Road conditions at the time were wet.
The bus had since been recovered, the spokesman said.
