A bus driver accused of hitting a schoolgirl in suburban Auckland last month has denied dangerous driving.
Siatua Tusa pleaded not guilty to the charge when he appeared in Auckland District Court today.
He was remanded on bail and will reappear in October.
The charge was laid after a Waka Pacific Bus struck Sheetal Chand, 15, at the intersection of Barrack Rd and Penrose Rd in Mt Wellington, on July 21.
She was admitted to hospital in a critical condition but has since improved and been discharged.
