The two young men charged with theft in connection to the death of a Lower Hutt bus driver will appear in court this morning.
The pair, a 17-year-old man and a 20-year-old man, were charged with theft after the cash box of a bus bus driver who died at Waterloo bus interchange was stolen.
A homicide investigation was launched after Herman Curry was found unconscious and with serious head injuries beside his bus about 10pm on Friday.
Ambulance staff performed CPR but he was pronounced dead at the scene.
Mr Curry's cash box, with about $40 in it, was found to be missing.
