An Auckland bus driver was arrested today following a road rage incident on Tuesday.
The 40-year-old, from the suburb of Glenfield, allegedly got into a woman's car and then threw a punch at a man trying to help her.
Police have charged him with two counts of assault.
He was released on bail and will reappear in Auckland District Court on February 21.
Bus company Stagecoach said that if the allegations against their employee were true, then he no longer had a job.
He had been suspended on full pay pending the police investigation.
