A bus driver accused of assault after an Auckland road rage incident pleaded not guilty in a brief court hearing today.
Brian Maxwell Tuinufuafe, 40, from the North Shore suburb of Glenfield, allegedly got into a woman's car and then punched a man who had came to her rescue.
Tuinufuafe, a Stagecoach bus driver for two and a half years, faces two charges of assault.
His lawyer, Kahu Barron-Afeake, told Auckland District Court Tuinufuafe would plead not guilty to both charges.
He was remanded on bail to appear again next month and prohibited from having any contact with the two complainants.
