KEY POINTS:
Bus information company Connexionz said it had won a $700,000 contract to provide a system to the United States city of Charlottesville, in Virginia.
The real-time passenger information system will cover about 400 bus stops for the city's 28-strong bus fleet.
Connexionz has already sold its bus systems overseas including to other US cities, the United Kingdom and Sydney.
It has also has systems operating in Auckland and Christchurch.
Shares in Connexionz were steady at 35c at yesterday's close, having traded between 26c and 38c in the last 12 months.
