A Wellington bus company director recovering in hospital after he was hit by one of its own buses is now in a stable condition.
NZ Bus director Tim Brown was hit by one of the company's's Go Wellington buses on Willis Street in the central city last week.
He suffered serious injuries after falling under the wheels.
Mr Brown was taken to Wellington Hospital where he remained in intensive care, and was now in a stable condition, said a hospital spokesman.
The bus company was working with authorities to investigate the cause of the incident.
