A burst water pipe has caused flooding on a South Auckland street this morning.
Police received a report of the incident at the intersection of Stancombe and Chapel Rds near the Fo Guang Shan Temple about 5.50am.
"There is rubble all over the footpath and an extreme force of water spraying out, creating flooding," a witness told Stuff.
"It's probably from the construction site next door."
A Watercare spokeswoman said water has been switched off to neighbouring properties in Stancombe and Chapels Rds while a contractor makes repairs.
