A water main has burst in Wellington this morning, cutting supply to Wellington's southern suburbs.
The burst at the intersection of Mornington Road and Lincoln Street in Brooklyn has cut water supply to a large part of Brooklyn, and the Vogeltown, Mornington and Kingston areas.
It was likely water would be off or disrupted until at least mid-afternoon, Wellington City Council spokesman Richard MacLean said.
