A 49-year-old man faces six methamphetamine charges after a fire on Auckland's North Shore yesterday afternoon.
The man was burned following the fire at home on Inga Road in Milford which according to public records has a valuation of $1.65 million, has four bedrooms, three bathrooms and a floor area of 231 m sq.
Emergency services received the call about 5.40pm yesterday.

A man has been charged with manufacturing methamphetamine, possession for supply of methamphetamine, possession of equipment, possession of equipment, possession of precursors, possession of materials and criminal nuisance.
A bedside hearing will be held at Middlemore Hospital where the man has been treated for burns.
Police said they had no more comment as the matter was before the courts.
