A burning rubbish truck dumped its load on New North Rd in Auckland this morning, causing traffic delays.
The fire service put out the 4.40am fire, but rubbish was dumped onto the road.
A witness said there were about two skip-loads of rubbish and the fire service was directing traffic around the pile, which was near the intersection of New North and Mt Albert roads.
Fire and police are at the scene.
