Wairarapa police are urging people to be more vigilant about security after four people were arrested in relation to burglaries.
In one incident three quad-type vehicles worth about $40,000 were taken from Kaxa Motors, Masterton, last month.
One was later found burned out but the other two have been recovered in good condition, Detective Sergeant Tracey Calder said. A 29-year-old man was arrested on Thursday after the vehicles were found at a Masterton address.
In another incident a man, 22, was arrested in relation to a burglary at Wairarapa Scrap Metals in which batteries and a small dirt bike were taken.
In the third incident two women aged 19 and 21 were arrested in relation to a burglary at a Masterton home five months ago during which a television, an MP3 player and stereo were taken. A third person was expected to be charged in connection with the incident.
