A spate of burglaries committed with stolen glass-breaking hammers have been reported to Masterton police.
The break-ins took place around town on Monday night with the first sometime after 6pm at Masterton Tranzit.
Senior Sergeant Warwick Burr said at least 12 of Tranzit's buses were broken into and 14 glass-breaking hammers were stolen.
At about 11pm Star Movies in Masterton was broken into.
"Two persons were seen breaking into the store. It appears some property has been taken but we're not positive at this stage," Mr Burr said.
