Police may be forced to rethink their strategy for protecting schools after another Palmerston North school was hit by thieves over the weekend. Laptop computers were stolen from Queen Elizabeth College.
It is the second burglary in as many weeks at the school.
The thefts follow a spate of burglaries and vandalism in the past month at Manawatu schools. Community organisations may be asked to help police patrol schools to deter thefts.
