A sharp-eyed neighbour has foiled two burgling brothers in Hamilton.
The pair were seen going into an elderly woman's house on East St yesterday by a neighbour, who immediately phoned police.
Patrol units arrived and arrested two men they found levering open a window.
More than $500 in Australian currency was recovered, along with three expensive watches and some burglary tools.
Police believe the cash and watches could have been taken in other robberies.
Two men in their 20s are due in court today, charged with burglary.
