A 35-year-old woman has been charged with burglary after allegedly targeting elderly people and convincing them to let her into their homes by pretending to need help.
Police allege the woman stole items from elderly victims including wallets and other valuables were then stolen.
In one incident it is also alleged that a victim was pushed over.
The woman will appear in the Manukau District Court on September 30 facing 10 charges including six of burglary.
Police are warning the public, particularly elderly residents to be very careful about who they let in to their homes.
