Hundreds of car enthusiasts turned out for this year's Galaxy of Cars event at Auckland's Museum of Transport and Technology.
More than 600 new and late model cars - including Corvettes, Minis and Model T Ford classics - were on show at Motat's Meola Rd site for the 12th year of the event.
A highlight for many was seeing the museum's 1961 Cooper Climax Formula 1 car that motorsport legend Bruce McLaren once drove.
Motat events co-ordinator Bridgette Johanson said: "Galaxy of Cars is one of our most popular annual events hear at Motat.
"It's a great day out for all, you can have a look at some awesome cars and even swap a few car parts down at the swap meet - all while supporting a great charity."
Visitors were encouraged to make most of the day with free entry offered to the museum on Great North Rd for those attending the Galaxy of Cars event.
All proceeds raised by visitor entry fees will go to teen Cancer charity CanTeen.
