Building site fall victim named

A sub-contractor killed when he fell 10m from a second storey window at a downtown Auckland construction site yesterday was Raymond John Allen, 60, from Papatoetoe, South Auckland.

Mr Allen was working for Hawkins Construction at the Britomart Transport Centre when the accident happened shortly before midday.

Police said the death had been referred to the coroner.
