A jogger who collapsed and died while running in an inner Auckland street at the weekend has been identified by his brother, police said today.
The jogger, Gary Michael Nausbaum, 66, collapsed along Ponsonby Rd, on Saturday afternoon.
He was retired and lived alone in the nearby suburb of Newton.
His identity mystified police until publicity about the case yesterday led to Mr Nausbaum's brother being concerned for him.
