Brothel loses appeal against bylaw ruling

Toni's of Hamilton owner Julie Conley has failed in her bid to overturn a bylaw banning her suburban brothel because it was 150m outside the council's "permitted brothel area".

Justice Ellen France has ruled against Toni's, citing, among other reasons, demand and supply factors in the Hamilton sex market.
