A Dannevirke building which briefly housed a brothel in 2008 has a new stock of beds and handcuffs for its reincarnation as a police museum and bed-and-breakfast.
The Public Trust Building, which housed the Promiscuous Girlz brothel briefly in 2008, is now home to the International Police Museum, run by former Senior Sergeant Bruce Lyon, the Manawatu Standard reported.
The museum features model and real police vehicles, badges and caps from police around the world.
Mr Lyon said a 9/11 display would go up by September next year ahead of the 10th anniversary of the New York twin tower terror attacks, and a Rainbow Warrior display would also feature in the museum.
