KEY POINTS:
Telecom's broadband network was knocked out nationally for eight hours on Friday night because of a power fault at a central Auckland exchange.
The outage occurred at 9pm and services were restored about 4am on Saturday.
Yesterday, Telecom had not established the cause of the fault.
