KEY POINTS:
Britain is to issue a badge for all surviving Women's Land Army and Timber Corp survivors, a number of whom migrated to New Zealand, who worked on the home front in World Wars I and II to provide food and timber for the country.
Applicants will need to supply date of birth, approximate dates of service in the Women's Land Army or Women's Timber Corps and the location at which they were stationed. Details can be found at www.defra.gov.uk/farm/working/wla/.
