Celebrity Petra Bagust and 656 other mothers missed out on their attempt to break the world mass breast-feeding record on Saturday, having to settle for a new Kiwi record.
Organised by Women's Health Action, the New Zealand muster at 35 locations nationwide fell well short of a 2003 Californian record of 1130 women breast-feeding at one time.
Joining Bagust at Lynnmall, Auckland, was her 5-week-old son, Jude Wilson.
