A broken-down car has caused delays for northbound traffic on Auckland's Northern motorway.
The vehicle has now been cleared from the road approaching Silverdale but delays are still expected through peak traffic time, the New Zealand Transport Agency said.
North Shore traffic is also heavy from Esmonde Rd heading toward the Harbour Bridge.
Traffic is heavy in patches across Auckland, including heading south between Market Rd and Greenlane and again before Takanini.
Northwestern motorway is also slow heading west between Waterview and Lincoln Rd.
