A brazen daylight robber caught on camera as he held up an Auckland bank may have struck before, police say.
The man handed a note demanding money to a teller in the Karangahape Rd branch of the Westpac Bank about 10am today.
Police said he then left on foot, heading towards Symonds St.
The man was a tall, clean-shaven Maori or Pacific Islander in his 20s or 30s. He had close-cropped black hair and wore a distinctive black "Ecko UnLtd" hooded sweatshirt with a large blue and white pattern.
Police said the man may have carried out a similar robbery at Kiwibank on Queen St last Thursday.
Anyone with information should contact police.
