A man labelled by police as a "brazen" bank robber has been jailed for three years and nine months.
Steven Peri, 32, earlier admitted three charges of robbing banks in central Auckland in February and March and was sentenced in Auckland District Court today.
He plead guilty to robberies at the Karangahape Rd branch of Westpac Bank on March 8, and to two others in the previous 12 days, at a Kiwibank and an ANZ.
Police described Peri as a "brazen" robber because he made no attempt to disguise himself.
