Allan Hubbard is chafing at his lawyers' suggestion he has a brain scan.
Hubbard confidants believe the 82-year-old financier was recommended to get an MRI scan to bolster claims that his health (he is on thrice-weekly dialysis for kidney problems) would be further impaired if he had to face lengthy court action.
Said Hubbard, "It probably does not do any harm to find out that you're still sane and don't have cancer of the brain - but it's all nonsensical."
