Bradford won't stand

Former Green MP Sue Bradford has decided not to stand for the Auckland Super City council in October. She said she had been encouraged to do so since resigning from Parliament in October last year.

But she has decided against it for fear of helping the right. "I felt it wouldn't be the right thing to do to split the left and Green vote."
