The sons of murdered Pukekohe woman Lynette Chapman plan to use a clairvoyant to speak to their mother beyond the grave.
Chapman's son Cole, 13, said he and brothers Brad, 19, and Todd, 21, wanted to use a psychic who was a family friend.
Cole said: "We were waiting for the case to be over. So we want things to settle down for the next two to three weeks and then we will consider it."
He said he wanted to tell his mother he missed her. "I miss everything about my mum."
His mother's killer, Tonya Bennett, 18, was jailed on Friday for a minimum non-parole period of 11 years for deliberately burning down the family home in January last year. Bennett had broken up with Brad two weeks before.
Cole said he was still angry at Bennett and would never forgive her.
A 19-year-old, Bennett's lookout, pleaded guilty to manslaughter and two counts of arson. That offender, who has name suppression, was sentenced to two years' jail with leave to apply for home detention.
