High drama followed a tumble from a bunk bed for an 11 year-old Wellington boy.
He was staying in a Department Of Conservation hut in the Abel Tasman National Park when the incident happened early this morning. The fall injured his arm and shoulder, and the only way out was by helicopter.
The Summit Rescue chopper broke out the night vision gear to find the boy, and fly him to Nelson Hospital, with his mum.
