Boy survives falls tumble

A 9-year-old boy has survived after being washed over a waterfall in the Gold Coast hinterland.

The boy is reported to have plunged about 20m down Cedar Creek Falls in Tamborine State Forest yesterday afternoon.

The New Zealander, who is on holiday in Queensland, received minor injuries.
