Boy stable after cliff fall

A teenage boy who suffered suspected spinal injuries in a fall down an Auckland cliff was today described as being in a stable condition in hospital.

The 14-year-old fell four metres down a beachside cliff at Orere Pt in Manukau about 3pm yesterday.

He was taken by Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance to Starship Children's Hospital.
