A 42-year-old man, fed-up with noise from boy racers outside his house, was arrested this morning after he rammed his car into one of their vehicles.
Dunedin police said the man was at his home in Purakaunui, near Port Chalmers, early this morning when the group gathered outside.
"He's gotten a wee bit angry with them and he's gone out and allegedly rammed one of them then thrown an object throught the window of one of the vehicles as they were travelling,' a police spokesman said.
A woman received cuts and scrapes to her hand and leg from the thrown object.
