Police are searching for a man who drove into a five-year-old boy outside his Mosgiel home today.
The driver stopped and spoke with the boy and his mother, but police have not been able to identify the man.
The accident happened about midday on Murray St.
The child suffered a broken ankle.
The driver was described as possibly being in his late 30s, of a stocky build and building.
