Boy injured in quad farm bike accident

An eleven-year-old Hamilton boy suffered serious leg injuries after the quad farm bike he was riding ran over him in Waitomo yesterday.

The group he was riding with did not notice the boy's absence until they reached a farm house.

The boy was flown to Waikato Hospital by the Westpac Waikato Air Ambulance, and arrived in a stable condition about midnight, ambulance staff said.
