KEY POINTS:
A 15-year-old boy is seriously injured after being trapped in a potato harvesting machine for nearly two hours.
The accident happened at a property in Pukekawa, south of Auckland.
Craig Watts from St John Ambulance says the boy is in shock, as he was very frightened and in a considerable amount of pain. He has suffered severe injuries to his pelvis and leg.
