KEY POINTS:
Police are asking for help to find a man who enticed a 13-year-old schoolboy into his car in Levin yesterday.
The frightened boy escaped from the car when it stopped outside the old council building in Levin at around 3.35pm.
The car involved in the incident is a large bright red four-door sedan with a black interior. The driver of the car was described as a clean shaven caucasian and was wearing a black hooded top. He is believed to be in his late 20s.
The boy got into the car in Chamberlain St at around 3.30pm. The car drove south along Oxford St and turned right into Bath St.
Police said witnesses should ring the crime line on 06 3660528.
