A 15-year-old boy accused of robbing a bus driver and escaping from custody faced further charges in the Youth Court at Christchurch today.
Youth advocate Siobhan McNulty told Judge Jane McMeeken the boy, who cannot be named because of his age, would deny being part of a group that bashed a Christchurch bus driver on July 31 and took a money tray containing about $170.
The boy today faced further charges of theft and escaping from custody.
Judge McMeeken told the boy he was in "serious trouble" and warned he must "do exactly as you're told when you're told".
She remanded him to a social welfare home, telling him if he didn't abide by the rules he'd find himself held in secure custody.
The boy will be back in Youth Court for a further hearing on August 29.
