A 16-year-old boy appeared in court yesterday charged with smashing the windows of a Featherston house.
The boy was arrested after a group of youths congregated at the house of Stephen Longshaw, whose daughter has admitted a minor role in the theft of the Honda Civic in which two Featherston boys died. He has also been charged with shoplifting beer from the Featherston Super Value.
In Masterton Youth Court yesterday the boy was bailed to an address outside of Wairarapa and ordered not to enter Featherston for three weeks. He is due to appear again March 10.
