A two-year-old boy was last night airlifted to hospital after falling out of his bunk bed.
The boy from Turangi suffered head injuries when he fell from his bunk in his sleep.
The boy, accompanied by his mother, was flown for further assessment to Waikato Hospital by Taupo's Youthtown Rescue Helicopter with the aid of night vision goggles.
He was said to be in a stable condition in a children's ward at Waikato Hospital this morning.
