Boy, 4, dies after being hit by vehicle

A four-year-old child died after being hit by a vehicle in Hamilton this afternoon.

Inspector Andrew Brill of police northern communications said the child had been taken to hospital and later died after the accident in Peachgrove Rd.

The police serious crash unit was investigating the accident, which happened around 3.45pm today.
