KEY POINTS:
A 16-year-old angry with his 42-year-old lover took out his rage on his home and a police patrol car, police say.
Early yesterday officers were called to a domestic dispute that had escalated into rocks being thrown at the side of the Masterton house, the Dominion Post reported.
The youth's female partner had allegedly been threatened.
Police said the youth kicked out the back window of a patrol car after being arrested.
He will appear in Masterton Youth Court next week charged with intentional damage, disorderly behaviour and threatening to cause grievous bodily harm.
He has been granted bail and will live at his partner's house.
