A 15-year-old youth will appear in Auckland Youth Court today charged with dangerous driving causing the death of 25-year-old Kathleen Wilson in the Auckland suburb of Onehunga in June.
Ms Wilson died when a stolen car, allegedly driven by the 15-year old, crashed while racing what was believed to be another stolen vehicle.
The youth will also face two counts of dangerous driving causing injury and two counts of unlawfully getting into a motor vehicle on the same date.
Another 15-year-old youth will face two counts of unlawfully taking a motor vehicle and one count of being an accessory after the fact to dangerous driving causing the death of Kathleen Wilson.
He is currently remanded in custody on other offences and is scheduled to appear in Auckland Youth Court on August 23 .
A 14-year-old boy has been referred to Youth Aid.
Two teenage women are still in hospital after they suffered horrendous injuries in the crash and are expected to be there for several months yet.
Police allege the driver allegedly abandoned Ms Wilson and the two injured women at the scene.
Ms Wilson died when the car crashed through a metal barrier in Arthur St, Onehunga on June 18.
Danielle Rocque, 17, and Tayla Fiaola, 16, were left badly injured at the scene.
The driver and possibly another passenger fled, leaving Miss Rocque jammed in the back of the car along with Ms Wilson and Miss Fiaola, her cousin, who was unconscious.
