Boy, 13, holds up shop

A 13-year-old boy armed with an imitation pistol robbed a Lotto shop in Katikati yesterday.

The boy came into the shop wearing a balaclava and brandishing a BB gun that looked like a real pistol.

He was spotted later at a bus stop and restrained by members of the public until police arrived.
